Google launches Pomelli AI tool for small businesses
Google Labs has launched Pomelli, a free experimental AI marketing tool developed by Google DeepMind for small and medium businesses. It is available through Google Labs and aims to help teams that lack in-house creatives or agencies.

Pomelli lets users input their brand details, objectives and target audience in a single brief. The tool then generates ad copies, images, and short videos that can be used across social and display platforms.
It uses what Google calls a business’s “DNA,” which includes brand guidelines, past campaigns, and tone of voice. This helps Pomelli keep outputs closer to existing branding while still offering multiple variations per campaign.
Marketers can review, edit and export assets directly from the Pomelli interface. Third party reports note that human checks are still needed for brand safety and compliance, especially in regulated markets.
Pomelli is currently available in select regions to users with a Google account. Google has not yet announced if the experiment will be integrated into its main ads products in the future.
