ASUS X550 — Octa Core 4G Phablet with Hand-print Recognition

Another ASUS product is making it’s way in the international market dubbed as ASUS X550, a 5.5-inch Full HD + LTPS High-End Screen Display with Anti-fingerprint technology and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass.

It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8939 64bit Octa Core 1.5GHz paired with Adreno 405 with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of Internal Storage but still expandable via Micro SD.

In terms of camera, it showcases the same Zen UI with 13-megapixel Rear and 8-megapixel Front camera. it also comes with a large 3,030mAh Battery. But what’s interesting with this device it has a feature called Hand-Print Recognition which can be used for an additional security feature for the device rather than using the conventional pin or swipe to unlock gesture.

What’s sad is this device will not be available locally and will only available in the international market like Gearbest and other Online stores. with a pre-order price of $259.99 which is roughly ₱12,000 (tax not included).
