The AYANEO Pocket DMG Silver Edition has been launched. As the name suggests, it’s a limited edition model of the handheld console with a metallic silver body.

Notably, it comes in three colorways (Arctic Black, Moon White, Retro). It starts at $339 (~P20K) with 8GB/128GB. It’s also available for $419 (~P25K) with 12GB/256GB instead.
For specs, it has a 3.92-inch OLED screen with 1240 x 1080 resolution at 419 ppi (450-nit peak). The display panel also has a revamped control layout, which includes a left Hall-effect joystick and touch-based right stick.
The right stick can also function as a mouse for PC-like gaming. Other means for physical controls include shoulder buttons, a dedicated turbo key, and MagicSwitch wheel controls. In addition, the power button also has a fingerprint sensor embedded into it.
The console also comes with a six-axis gyroscope, and an X-axis linear motor for haptics. Plus, it packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 25W of PD fast charging.
For thermals, it uses a 13,330mm² heatsink as an active cooling solution. Powering the handheld is a Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 with LPDDR5X memory and UFS storage.
The base model with 128GB comes with UFS 3.1, while the higher configuration has UFS 4.0. If users find this lacking, it comes with a microSD card slot.
The handheld will ship with Android 13, supported by the AyaSpace skin and AyaHome (desktop launcher). AYANEO says it’s capable of running the more demanding 3D Android titles.
In addition, they added that it supports customization for emulators and Xbox streaming. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and a port for USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 with DisplayPort 1.4.
