Code2Worlds has been announced as a new 4D scene generator that lets users create full 3D simulations from plain text prompts, outputting scenes that can be further edited in tools like Blender. Example prompts such as “a breeze stirs through the autumn forest” or “a 10-second time-lapse from pre‑dawn to golden hour” yield animated 3D environments with coherent lighting and motion over time.
The system supports both outdoor and indoor scenes, from lush forests and underwater jellyfish to everyday setups like bedrooms or living rooms. Objects in the scene such as cups spilling water or bottles rolling across the floor are fully 3D, enabling artists to tweak geometry, animation, and camera paths after generation.
The researchers plan to release code via GitHub, and the project page already outlines basic setup instructions. Once the repositories go live, the tool could slot into 3D content pipelines as a fast way to prototype environments and simulations directly from text.
