Facebook lets you now view External Websites without leaving the app

In the recent update of Facebook app they added the feature where you can now view external websites without even leaving the mobile app , this feature helps user view site immediately rather than choosing your browser to view it properly, unfortunately base on my experience it seems that it only works on a smartphone running on Android KitKat version and if your on a Jellybean version you will not have this feature but that’s just me I am still gathering info if this feature is only for KitKat users and above which is the Lollipop version.

to check this feature simply click any link on a post from your favorite websites or fanpages or even friends who shared contents, and if you want to disable this feature and you still want the traditional external browser simply navigate to the app settings and you will see the tick mark “Always open links with external browser” change that to “ON” for you to use again the default browser on your devices. be sure to download the latest version of the app v23.0.0.4 or .0.5. I haven’t tested yet this feature on a Data Connection please let me know if it works using any of the local telco data connections.
