GoTyme Bank unveils new Go Crypto feature

GoTyme Bank has unveiled Go Crypto, a new in-app feature that lets users trade cryptocurrencies. The new service works through the GoTyme mobile app, enabling users to buy, sell, and manage 11 different digital assets.

Prominent coins supported by the platform include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Ripple. Go Crypto alleviates users from having to open a separate crypto exchange account.

In the GoTyme app, users can see instant conversion between Philippine pesos and supported cryptocurrencies. The service also comes with tools to gauge a user’s risk tolerance, live market data, and transparent pricing.

Plus, there’s also a dedicated section for tracking crypto holdings. GoTyme says every listed cryptocurrency went through a strict bank-level review process before being made available to users.

However, the bank also reminds customers that cryptocurrencies are highly volatile and risky investments. The company further clarified that these assets are not covered by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation, unlike regular bank deposits.
