HONOR X9d 5G makes first-day sales surge of 160% over predecessor

HONOR Philippines has recorded strong first-day sales for the HONOR X9d 5G. The new offering posted a 160% increase compared to its predecessor, the HONOR X9c 5G.

The device officially launched in stores nationwide on January 24, following a series of promotional events including viral drop tests. Other events included the HONOR X9d 5G vs. Tesla Cybertruck experiential event and a grand launch at the Grand Hyatt.

Positioned as the market’s most durable smartphone, the HONOR X9d 5G features all-around drop, water, and dust resistance. It’s capable of withstanding drops from heights up to 2.5 meters onto certain surfaces.

It’s reinforced by HONOR Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology, Non-Newtonian fluid, and ultra-tough deep-tempered glass. This provides protection against 10 more types of stone-ground impact and even air-gun shooting.

A grand fan fest was also held at SM Megamall Fashion Hall on January 24 featuring OPM icons. The line consisted of Sponge Cola, HORI7ON, Fitterkarma, Shanne Dandan, Figvres, and Pommelo.

Pre-order buyers received exclusive Linya-Linya collaboration shirts and other prizes. The HONOR X9d 5G is available in Reddish Brown, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Gold at P18,999.

The phone comes bundled with a free HONOR Gift Box and Jisulife Life Fan5. It can be purchased at HONOR Experience or Partner Stores, and online via Lazada, Shopee, or TikTok Shop. In addition, Home Credit offers installment plans at P24 per day with a P1,000 discount until February 26.
