HUAWEI Mate X7 specs, priced in the Philippines

The HUAWEI Mate X7 has been launched in the Philippines as their latest foldable offering. Priced at P119,999, it’s available on Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, and the HUAWEI Online Store.

Buyers will get a free HUAWEI Watch GT 5, P10,000 discount, and up to P12,000 in trade-in tokens. The company’s also throwing in a year’s worth of accidental screen damage protection with the promo until February 26.

Compared to its predecessor, it is notably slimmer, measuring 9.5mm when folded. It’s also one of the thinnest foldables in its class at 4.5mm when unfolded.

Display-wise, it has an 8-inch 2.5K foldable LTPO OLED screen with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. It also has a 6.49-inch cover screen (also at 120Hz) protected with Kunlun Glass 2. The device also has an IP58/IP59 rating for dust and water resistance.

Powering it is a Kirin 9030 with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It packs a 5,600mAh battery with 66W of wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Mate X7 ships with HarmonyOS 6 or EMUI. HUAWEI has yet to confirm what OS the local unit ships with. We’ll update readers once details are available.

For optics, the phone has a 50-megapixel main with variable aperture and OIS. It also has a telephoto (3.5x, OIS), a 40-megapixel ultra wide, and dual 8-megapixel selfie shooters.
