Infinix announces XOS 16 with updated design and AI features

Infinix has introduced XOS 16 featuring a refined visual design and extensive AI capabilities for future Infinix smartphones. The update brings a new ‘Glow-space’ visual design with faster and smoother liquid motion animations.

Users get new personalization options including updated system app icons, wallpapers, lock screen options, and custom themes. There’s also optional depth effects for both lock and home screens.

Another addition is the AI theme generator that accepts text and image input for creating custom themes. AI features are central to XOS 16 through the Folax assistant.

AI Note makes sketches look more presentable, while AI Recording Summary provides instant transcripts and summaries automatically. Flash Memo captures on-screen content and generates summaries and tags for later recall.

The AI Call Assistant offers real-time translation, call summaries, and auto-answer for important calls. Students get a dedicated suite of AI features for translating, scanning documents, writing, and solving complex questions.

Camera improvements include a native eraser function and image extension capability. Gamers receive system-level performance toggles for performance, balanced, and power-saving modes.

In addition, we have bypass charging, frame interpolation for smoother graphics, and Magic Voice Changer 2.0 with adjustable voice profiles. XOS 16 will come pre-installed on future Infinix smartphones and will roll out to current and older devices later.
