LG G5 Now Official and it’s now Modular

In the Mobile World Congress 2016 LG announced the new G5 a huge (kinda!) upgrade from the LG G4. The New LG G5 is now a modular phone, from battery, audio, camera and more. The body is now a sleek metal uni-body that features a slide-out battery and modular type accessories.

It’s for everyone, if you’re into audiophile then they have the Hi-Fi player Module called LG Hi-Fi Plus with B&O PLAY that let’s you listen to 32-bit Hi-Fi DAC upsampling technology first introduced on the LG V10, LG Hi-Fi Plus with B&O PLAY also supports 32-bit 384KHz high-definition audio playback. then if you’re into photography they have a module called LG CAM Plus which is a versatile camera module that can also be attached to the phone that gives a DSLR like output plus it give an additional 1,200mAh which makes the device a total of 4,000mAh.

they also announced the Friends that can be purchase separately first one is the LG 360 VR which is a VR Googles that only weighs 118g that also delivers a high resolution 639 ppi 360 degree images.

Next is the LG 360 Cam a compact 36-degree angle camera with 13-megapixel wide angle cameera that also comes with an additional 1,200mah battery and a 4GB internal storage but still expandable via MicroSD. LG 360 Cam provides a 2k video and 5.1 surround audio.

Another accessories is the LG Rolling Robot a BB8 droid like robot companion which act as a home surveillance. Embedded with 8MP camera and can be controlled using the device.

Aside from the devices they also announced the LG Smart Controller, LG Friends manager and LG Tone Platinum.

The new LG G5 is packed with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of Storage with dual display that has always-on feature and also a dual camera.
