Nano Banana Pro is now official, unveiled by Google as an updated version of their AI image generator. Powered by Gemini 3 Pro, it offers smarter, context-aware image production using real-time data from Google’s search engine.
Google says the new model has a big leap in its ability to work with text inside images. Of course, this is a common pain point for AI-powered image generators.
Now, it can produce images with readable fonts on collaterals like posters and mockups.In addition, this feature is aware of handling multiple languages, making translation tasks easier.
Further, Nano Banana Pro can merge up to 14 separate images for the more elaborate editing tasks as well. Users also have better control to alter specific sections of the generated image, which can be saved in either 2K or 4K quality.
This includes the ability to change elements like color or lighting with simpler commands. It uses information like recipes, live sports score graphics, and can help develop educational material for complex topics.
Its uses include generating infographics, converting simple sketches into well-rounded diagrams, and generating visual prototypes. To access this via the Gemini app, users just have to select the Thinking model and press the Create Images option.
