The OnePlus 15R is now official as the brand’s latest sub-flagship device, launched for the global market. The handset is also allegedly a rebranded OnePlus Ace 6T with a few tweaks.
For instance, its battery capacity has been cut to 7,400mAh, with its charging speed reduced to 80W instead. However, the selfie shooter is now 32-megapixels and it will ship with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16.
Display-wise, it boasts a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with 165Hz refresh rate and 2.8K resolution. It also supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, offers 3,600 nits of peak brightnes, and is protected by Crystal Shield glass.
Under the hood, it’s powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Rear optics consist of a 50-megapixel IMX906 main with OIS paired with an 8-megapixel ultra wide.
Other features include its stereo speakers, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, IR blaster, and quad-IP rating (IP66/68/69/69K). Pre-orders are up in select markets, with the 12GB/256GB model priced at $699 (~P41,000) in the US.
We’ll update readers should it be available in the Philippines, so stay tuned!
