Opera Neon is now open for public early access as an agentic AI browser. Previously limited to closed founders since October, this was built for those who want dibs on new AI features.
However, readers should note that the browser is still behind a subscription paywall of $19.90 per month. Still, Neon is unlike standard browsers as it uses AI agents to perform tasks.
Interested users can check it out via operaneon.com. For those who prefer browsers with free AI features, check out Opera One, Opera GX, and Opera Air.
Some of its use cases include building websites, generating videos, and editing documents. In addition, it gives users access to top-tier models like Gemini 3 Pro, GPT-5.1, Veo 3.1, and Nano Banana Pro in a dedicated workspace.
Opera has billed this browser with a ‘one subscription, top models’ approach as a more affordable alternative. Subscribers also get Neon-specific agents like Neon Chat, Do, Make, and ODRA.
Among these, ODRA stands out as a deep research agent that can provide information on complex topics with sources and haste. Access includes entry to an exclusive Discord community where users can test features early and provide feedback directly to Opera’s developers.
