Realme Philippines just released a refreshed version of one of their last year’s best selling device the Realme C11. Also, touted as 2021 version.

Most manufacturer when they release their refresh version it’s either a higher specs or almost the same with the previous generation with some minor tweaks and aesthetics.
Realme in this case surprisingly didn’t go with that route see for yourself below.

Technically the 2021 release is a downgrade from the previous model. Realme used an older SoC Unisoc SC9863A which is previously known as Spreadtrum.

Camera also been downgraded from a Dual lens camera to now a single 8-megapixel rear lens.

Also, It is very easy to identify which model are you purchasing 2020 model doesn’t have the 2021 text in their box.

Now even though this is a newer version it doesn’t mean you are getting a better deal. With its price tag of ₱4,990 you might want to look for the 2020 version which are still available online.
