The Redmi Buds 8 Lite has been launched in the Philippines as entry-level wearables. The buds feature a 12.4mm driver with titanium diaphragm for clear and detailed audio.
They connect via Bluetooth 5.4 and support both AAC and SBC codecs for wide device compatibility. A key feature is hybrid active noise cancellation that reduces ambient noise by up to 42 decibels.
Transparency mode is included for times when users need to hear their surroundings. The earbuds use a dual microphone array with AI algorithms to cut background noise during calls.
Xiaomi claims the system works effectively even in wind speeds up to 6 meters per second. Users can customize audio with five pre installed equalizer modes or create custom profiles.
The Xiaomi Earbuds app allows further personalization of sound settings for different scenarios. The Redmi Buds 8 Lite supports multi-point connectivity for pairing to two devices simultaneously.
Fast charging provides up to two hours of playback from just a 10 minute charge. Total battery life including the charging case is rated for up to 36 hours of use.
The Redmi Buds 8 Lite will be available in Black, White, and Blue color options. They are priced starting at P1,199 through authorized Xiaomi online and offline stores in the Philippines.
