Popular Action camera alternative SJCAM has launched a new 4k version of their popular SJCAMERA. The SJ5000x Elite is a 4k action camera out of the box using a new 12-megapixel Sony IMX078 sensor and NTK96660 Novatek CPU.

It can record 4K @ 24fps (3840*2160), 2K(2560 x 1440)30fps / 1080P(1920 x 1080) 60fps / 720P(1280 x 720)120fps, WVGA@240fps (Slow Mo) with a Built-in Gyro Anti-Shake Stabilization, a Slow Motion feature that can be adjusted from -2x, -4x and -8x.

It still has the same build form factor similar with the other models they released, WiFi capable that can be controlled using any Android or iOS device.

It boast a 900mAh battery and still have lots of brackets available when purchasing the device but as usual SJCAM is known for having a very affordable pricing. With the new SJ5000x Elite it price for only $149 which is rougly less than 7k comparing to the popular Go Pro Hero 4k Action Cameras.
