The TECNO CAMON 50 has also been launched, sharing much of the same hardware as the Pro model albeit more affordable. For reference, both devices run on the Helio G200 Ultimate with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Both devices also pack a 6,150mAh with 45W of wired fast charging. The phone runs on HiOS 16 with three major OS updates guaranteed by TECNO.
The base model has a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate and an under-display fingerprint sensor. What sets it apart from the Pro model is that this device doesn’t have a curved panel.
For cameras, it has a 50-megapixel main, 50-megapixel telephoto, and 8-megapixel ultra wide at the rear. At the front, it comes equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
Features include its IP68/IP69/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H ratings, NFC, IR blaster, and stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio. The TECNO CAMON 50 is priced at KES 37,500 (~P 17K), set for a global launch at MWC 2026.
We’ll update readers once its pricing and availability in the Philippine market has been confirmed.
