Toshiba’s TransferJet Adapter can transfer 375Mbps of data wirelessly for iOS, Windows and Android

Toshiba Tokyo today launched their newest portable device, an Adapter that helps transferring of files much faster with iOS devices like iPhone,iPad and iPod. the device is using a close proximity wireless transfer technology. The technology provides simple connections and ultra-high speed data transfers with low power consumption, it said to have transfer speed upto 375Mbps, and 100MB of data can be transmitted in approximately three seconds. Toshiba TransferJet TJM35420LT will work with OS 7.1 / 8.1 and uses a lighting connector.

Sales of the adapter by mass marketers and online stores are scheduled to start from spring 2015 in Japan, followed by Europe, the Americas and Asia and is said to price around ¥4,000 to ¥5,000 (US$33 to $41).

Alongside with TransferJet TJM35420LT the Toshiba also announced two more TransferJet adapters for Windows (TJM35420AUX) and Android (TJM35420AMU). it uses a Micro USB adapter that is 1.7 times faster than the previous generation TransferJet adapters and compatible for Windows® 7 32bit, 64bit and Windows® 8 32bit, 64bit for Android upto 4.4.
