Goodbye Winamp Media Player on December 20

If you’re a 90’s kid well seriously you have used one of the popular Winamp Media players back then, they are known for the Skinned Media Player where users can download skin and apply it on their winamp player.

But Winamp silently announced that their webservices will no longer be available but you can still download their release release on or before December 20.

Winamp.com and associated web services will no longer be available past December 20, 2013. Additionally, Winamp Media players will no longer be available for download. Please download the latest version before that date. See release notes for latest improvements to this last release.

This is really sad to see, back then when they are really popular people are bragging about their new skins and how epic! is the look. but any other company if they are no longer earning or people are not using it anymore they need to shutdown and that what happened to winamp. 🙁
