The nubia V80 Max has been announced for Philippine release as a durable budget-friendly offering. It boasts four corners of reinforcement to account for 360-degrees of drop protection.
In fact, it’s certified for drop resistance up to 1.8 meters. In addition, it also has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The V80 Max is available in five different colorways. Display-wise, it has a 6.9-inch 120Hz screen peaking at 780 nits.
Under the hood, it’s powered by an unspecified chipset clocking up to 1.8GHz. It comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage as well.
For optics, it has a 50MP AI triple-rear camera system and a 16MP selfie shooter. Plus, it packs a 6,000mAh battery with the company promising four years’ worth of battery health.
Charging features include AI night charging, bypass charging, and 10W of reverse charging. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, up to 200 percent of volume boost, and nubia Linkfree.
Linkfree allows for Bluetooth calling and messaging within a 600 meter range for free without the need for a SIM card. The nubia V80 Max is priced at P9,999 but has a launch price of P6,499 in the Philippines.
