POCO C85 5G now official

The POCO C85 5G is now official following the launch of its 4G model in the Philippines earlier this year. This entry-level device joins POCO’s C-series line, fitted with a sizable display, long battery life, and durability features.

At the time of writing, however, it’s only currently available in India via Flipkart. It comes with three colorways in Mystic Purple, Power Black, and Spring Green.

The POCO C85 5G starts at INR 11,999 (~P8K) with 4GB/128GB. It’s also available for INR 12,999 (~P8.5K) with 6GB/128GB and INR 14,499 (~P9.5K) with 8GB/128GB.

It sports a 6.9-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution (810-nit peak). It also comes with certifications for low blue light, flicker reduction, and circadian comfort.

Under the hood, it has a Dimensity 6300 built on a 6-nanometer process clocking up to 2.4GHz. It also has a 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W of wired fast charging and 10W reverse charging.

For cameras, it has a 50-megapixel main paired with a secondary sensor and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. Other features include its IP64 rating, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and 3.5mm audio jack,

The POCO C85 5G will ship with Xiaomi HyperOS 2.2 based on Android 15. POCO also promises two major Android OS updates and four years of security patches.
