In robotics, two new platforms are showing how far real-world capabilities have come: Unitree’s Go2 robot dog and Agibot’s G2 wheeled humanoid. Go2 can run at up to 5 meters per second, is rated IP54 for weather resistance, and can support around 105 kg. This is about six times its body weight and it’s safe to use over rough terrain.
Meanwhile, Agibot’s G2 takes a different approach with a wheeled base, more than 26+5 degrees of freedom and 19-DOF hands designed for precise manipulation. The system is powered by Nvidia’s Jetson Thor platform (T5000) and targets factory assembly and logistics tasks with 24/7 operation and hot-swappable batteries.
Together, the two robots highlight how quadrupeds and wheeled humanoids are evolving for both outdoor and industrial use cases.
