Yongnou Nikon 50mm f/1.8 in the flesh

Nikon users rejoice! The rumored Nikon version of the Yongnou 50mm f/1.8 lens will be available soon. Chinese website Sina tech just posted an update of what we can expect of the physical look build of the upcoming Nikon lens by Yongnou, it’s available for preview in Shanghai Photographic Equipment Exhibition.

It will feature a metal lens mount, and AF-S focusing motor, plus a focusing distance of 0.45m. Yongnou hasn’t released official pricing details yet, but comparing to the Yongnou Canon 50mm which cost only 2,800 locally this might possibly have the same pricing scheme.
